our model

Our Residential Model

Our specialist 16-week residential placements provide young people with a safe, structured and therapeutic environment where they can step away from harmful influences and focus onrecovery, personal development and lasting behavioural change.

We specialise in predominantly solo placements with 2:1 staffing, enabling every young person to receive highly individualised support tailored to their specific needs, risks and aspirations.

Within a safe residential environment, every young person follows an individual pathway that combines therapeutic intervention, education, emotional wellbeing, life skills, physical activityand structured daily routines.

Throughout their placement, progress is continually reviewed, allowing programmes to adapt toeach young person's needs while preparing them for a successful transition into education, family life and the wider community.

community support

Community Support Beyond Residential Care

Recovery does not end when a placement finishes.

Through our developing network of community hubs and positive activity programmes, young people can continue building confidence, resilience and healthy routines after leaving residential care.

Our community pathway includes opportunities such as:

• Boxing and fitness
• Football and team sports
• Outdoor learning
• Creative arts and media
• Music and performance
• Employability and life skills
• Mentoring and peer support
• Family engagement
• Community activities and holiday programmes

This continuity of support helps young people maintain progress and continue moving towards independent, positive lives.

our approach

Our Unique Approach

Every Dream Steps Recovery placement is built around two exclusive learning frameworks.

The Opponent™ helps young people recognise the internal thoughts, pressures and influences that encourage harmful decisions.

ThoughtSwitch™ provides a practical framework that helps interrupt automatic reactions andreplace them with healthier, more considered choices.

Combined with trauma-informed practice, behavioural science, neuroscience and practicalcoaching, these frameworks help young people develop lifelong decision-making skills ratherthan relying on short-term behaviour management.
